It is the largest bedroom and comes with a private en suite bath and exclusive access to the second floor balcony on the front porch. The room features furnishings from 19th century France and the United States with a focus on Napoleon Bonaparte.

The “Shogun” room is decorated on a theme of the colors evident in the 19th century Imperial wedding kimono, which is its centerpiece. The rich subdued coral colored walls compliment other furnishings and art, which might have belonged to a well-traveled person of substance from Imperial China or Japan.

British Colonial Room

The singular down-stairs accommodation is the “Club Room.” This rustic, yet refined room in shades of kaki and burgundy evokes the feel of a private club. The room features a built-in sleeping alcove with Temper-Pedic mattress and an additional trundle single bed, which may be used separately or combined to provide a king-sized sleeping surface.
